saddlebag guards on street glide
#12
I was fortunate enough to try mine out today. I parked the bike in an open parking lot just to have some guy in a pickup back into it and turn it over! Zero paint damage just bag guard, engine guard, grip, and hwy peg scratches. The tour pack guard was bent but no tour pak damage.

Glad the guards did their job though.

But from my understanding, they won't fit. Different saddlebag support bars underneath.
They sure look better then the standard ones and also give the BSR more leg room without the guard bars hitting their calves.

To say the least, I would be pissed.
GLAD the guy in the truck stuck around to show you how good his good insurance was. Like you said it makes it less painful.
Now to come out and see your girl laying on her side by herself would be a whole different story!
Glad it worked out.

JEESE I went ballistic on a dude for sitting on my seat to get his picture taken, didn't go well for him and his busload of Asian tourists that were all crowded around my bike thinking it was a tourist attraction!

BS...not if you get the guards only w/o "wrap-around" bars like deluxe touring. Also, mine are black so they blend with bike (vivid black) and match frame. Trust me, one tip on your $470 bag and a $200 set of guards is money well spent...not that I plan to tip bike over...
