You have to drill holes for this, or use tape. Plus, it's very expensive for a small piece of metal. Way over priced. But I agree, it's nice.

I tried this and hated it. It does bounce like crazy, at least with my Galaxy S3 also it partially blocks out the gages and all of the idiot lights. I can do without the neutral light but I hate riding around with a blinker on and not knowing it, it makes you look like a dipsh*t.

Anyway I gave it to the first homeless person I saw.

On edit: I finally quit looking for the "Best" mount when I found the Ram X-Grip. Ugly as sin but the most functional unit on the planet. IMHO.

I got one of these (3 really) and mounted one for my Garmin with it. Thats how I KNOW I'll hate the placement of the "infotainment center" Takes your eyes too far off the road. For me anyway.
My wife and I both have the Mountek in our vehicles and love them. Best mount I've ever used for cells. Just not working for me on the scooter.

Default More High-Quality Phone Mounts

You can find this one and several more (four different designs) under the eCaddy brand. One is waterproof, one is for iPhone specific, one has "quick tilt" etc. Here's a guide page I put together: http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/phoneguide.html

I'm glad you like your phone mount, but it's not for me. The way it blocks the gauges is an instant deal-killer.

I'm really kind of surprised that more people don't go with the Harley magnetic tank-mount pouch for their phone. I use this and it's simplicity itself -- no screwing around with mounting brackets and stuff, just plug the phone into the radio, zip it up in the pouch and go.
