Default 2008 Street Glide Blacked Out

2008 Street Glide with 14" Wild 1's

I just put these on last week. They are called 14" apes, but actually measure 16" from bottom to top. I am 5'10" and these are perfect. Hope this helps. I had a tough time deciding on a size but glad I went with these. 170$ on amazon, come chrome or black.

Here are some pics of my 14 inch Yaffe MBB's. They measure more like 16's as you may already know of these type of bars. I love them and feel like the wrist angle is perfect!

The 16s are awesome, have heard it is harder to control the bike with the bigger bars so been dragging my feet on the purchase for sometime

Someone told you wrong! Different than what you are use to? Yes. But harder to control? No, in fact my experience was the opposite.
I love them and I personally think it has even more control now. There is a slight learning curve the first time you ride it but trust me when I tell you, you will wonder why you didn't do it long ago!

The 13" on my bike are just about perfect. I am 6'2" and my hands are just slightly lower than my shoulders now. I think if they were 14" or 15" bars, they would be perfect and give me level arms when riding.

Before these bars, the stock bars were like I was pushing a wheel burrow around all day!! Back and elbows were always sore after a day of riding.

To me it is less about what the bars "look like" but rather what they "feel like"
In the case of these bars though, I get the best of both worlds!

just my .02cents...I have 18" apes on my 09 SG and I don't feel that it's harder to control the bike at all. I'm 5'11".

Before and after painted fairing:

These are 14" Wild 1's. I love them. At first I was going to go with the 12's, but enough people on this site were encouraging to go taller. I did, and love them. It took a bit getting used to with maneuvering the bike compared to stock, but now they feel great.

Wild ones 13s. I'm 6'5 and much more comfortable with the new bars.
