I had the DG Bigseat. Worst seat imaginable. Kept having problems with the backrest because of poor quality manufacturing. They sub that to an outside vendor. And my azz would burn after 50 miles. Best seats I've had were Mustang and Corbin.

I've got the seat that came with the CVO RG. I think it's basically a brawler with diamond stitching. Dealer stocks it and I want to say it was under $200. Despiste the picture it does cover up the seat bolts. I had just finished a stage 1 install and put the seat back on and didn't move the little flap back.

Mustang seats are excellent. Have had em on three different Harley's since 2003. Just got the Super Solo for the 2008. If you buy directly from Mustang you'll have a week or two to ride it and make sure it's what you want. I'm on my third Mustang and for me they're battin 1000.

I have a Mustang Vintage Super Solo seat/pillion that is super comfortable. It keeps you back from the tank, but it feels like it raises you up about an inch or so also. I've been thinking about selling them if you're interested. I just haven't made up my mind yet...

I also have a diamond stitch wide tripper solo, that is really comfortable, and looks good too. I haven't taken a long trip on it yet though. I think about 100 miles at a time is the longest I've been on it so far.

I have posted on other threads about the Mustang solo. I installed one day and took off the next day for 8 days, 3200 miles. The first day was 770 miles and it fit and felt great. Everyone has their favorites so you'll get a number of opinions. I picked the Mustang after 2 years of research (reading and talking with people that had them) then I found a great deal on one from Dennis Kirk. Like most things it is your perception and expectation of the product that makes you decide whether it was a good purchase or not. I have NO buyers remorse as I received what I feel is a fair value for what I paid. Good luck on our decision.
