Has anybody used this mount? is it good and solid? any issues?

The Lifeproof handlebar mount is pretty solid; even held up in a low side laydown.

I'll post some pics later, but I set mine up with one of the power/audio cords, ran the wires under the fairing, and now it charges while I ride as well as playing music/gps directions through the radio. Phone calls have to wait till I stop though.

Looks like a sweet unit and cheaper than the ram mount but with mine it will hold a lot of devices including my iPhone 5. Probably would've bought this if I knew about it.

Thanks guys, I bought a LP case for my iPhone 5 for the water proof qualities specifically for riding, and they just released the bar mount for the 5. I am going to order one.

I'm sure you will love it. I put mine in the perfect spot. Although I can't charge while its in there off pandora the phone lasts really long. I'm not sure if the one for the iphone5 will let it hook up while in the holster. Let me know how you like it.
