Default Solo seat for ultra classic

I installed the detachable tour pak kit on my 2011 FLHTCU and I'd like to install a brown solo seat. Any suggestions/pictures? THANKS

first have a look at your rear fender and see if it is presentable- it may be scuffed up from the stock seat.

brown saddle belongs on a horse...

so i only have experience with black.

I use both and SG seat and a HD Brawler solo around town- I'm sure you can find something similar in brown.

The SG seat will put you down and back about an inch- the bumper is really nice, keeps you from sliding around. This is the 09-10 version SG seat which has a smaller rear section than the later. This seat is fine up to 4 hours, painful at 6

the Brawler seat puts you back and down even farther, about another inch. like a lePera solo this uses an inverted T mount from the fender studs to mount the rear of the seat. this seat is fine around town but can put more stress on the hips due to seating position

To protect my fender from damage by the Ultra seat ( which I use when I tour) I use rubber bumpers on the frame rails to hold the seat up off of the fender

I couldn't go with a solo because I always want the tour pak. Plus the fender was really a mess. But I did get a saddle that I think almost makes the two work together. Got it from C&C Seats. It's claimed to be a two up seat but I sure wouldn't want to sit on it. I still have some painting to do to fix rub marks and holes in my tour pak but I'm getting there a little at a time.

You can still have a tour pack with a solo seat, it is just a different mounting rack

The Corbin Classic Solo is the best seat I have owned for any of my bikes. Plus they offer a matching passenger pilon for when you want to ride two-up.

I went with the C & C solo on my Ultra and also have the rear seat pad but seldom use it.

My dad uses the danny gray on his classic. It's ok for trips an hour or two long.

the brawler seat is the style i'm looking for. here's the question, though,. how does that seat mount to the fender? i have 2 fender mount studs w/bolts forward of the single mount receptacle that secures my stock seat, so how does your seat mount? thanks.

My Danny Gray Speed Cradle has a T shaped bracket that bolts to the 2 bolts in the fender, and the solo seat bolts to the long leg of the T,aft of the fender bolts.
