I don't personally like the look without the bags but to each his own. Mine is lowered front and rear with 16" carlini 1.5" thick bars. I only use the windshield for long trips.

As a man who has one, and tried to talk himself into getting a SG, I agree! With a solo seat, apes, and leather bags, it is, in my opinion, THE best looking Harley out there. I could not bring myself to part with it. I'll probably have that damn thing till I die........

I know this is an older thread come back to life, but I had the bags off today to change rear pads. Thought I'd snap a picture with and without bags of the RKC

The RKC is a beauty bags or not! What is your rim/tire setup? Rims and spokes look bigger than stock or the tires are low profile, I can't figure it out but it's hot!

My 05 road king looks dang good with no windshield and beach bars. Could not picture it without the bags though.

The front is a 21x3.5 52 mammoth wheel (matching rotors) with a Vee Rubber ww. I don't love the tire, but I'll wear it out by mid next year, and it's "ok". Rear is stock HD 16". Plan is to put a matching 18" back there when the rear tire wears out

Front end is also lowered 1" with a monotube. rear lowered 1" with 412's
