Default List the bikes that brought you to current

The bagger appreciation thread got me to thinking. What bikes have you had? Post the years and a comment on each. Here are mine:

1974 - Honda Trail 70. Fun, compact, dependable. It wasn't mine actually, but rode it incessantly courtesy of my friend. You never forget your first ride.
1982 - 1981 Yamaha XS650 Special, my very first vehicle of any kind purchased. Quick like lightning, used to blow off muscle cars in the mountains in Denver.
1991 - 1976 Honda GL1000, the original Goldwing, slow and steady, logged 50,000 miles on her.
2001 - 1981 Yamaha XS1100 Midnight Special, sweet ride, quicker than lightning and turned on a dime with change.
2006 - 2006 FLHTCUSE. The Ultimate comfort ride. Far and away the most luxurious ride I ever rode, built for the long haul and loaded with that certain "something" that only Harleys have.

2003 Shadow ACE 750 - great starter bike. Nice fat tires. Very dependable.
2005 Gold Wing 1800 - Cadillac of bikes. Smooth ride.... Tons of power... DIdn't feel like I was on a motorcycle.More like a Civic w/ 2 wheels.
2007 FLHX - Tons of American V-Twin history behind it. Just enough power. Harley tradition and style.

When I was in high school I had a moped.
Then I moved to a Yahama 250
I rode a few bikes after that were friends bikes.
Last year I turned 40
I bought a softail 06
I had a hard time with the wifeand FAMILY but I bought it any how
My wife rode with me and liked it
Next thing I know I bought an Ultra so she would be more comfortable
Then my 16 year old boy wanted to ride (he wanted a Kawi[>:][:'(][:@]) so I got him one("some day he will ride a good bike")
Then my wife figured she could ride so I bought her a sporty
Now I have 3 Harleys And one Kawisaki.
Funny how fast things change

In 1992 I boughta 1973 sportster (1000cc) it was totally chromed out and had some wild paint on it left over from thee 70's the tank even had a airbrushed picture of Rachel Welsh's face with her mouth open (think about it) bought it late in the season, so in the house it went, to be striped and painted. well it looked alot better after that, rode it for 3 years. Sold it to buyan offshore boat.
Fast forward to 2004, sick of the boats (not as much fun on the lake as it used to be) Bought a brand new 2004 FXDX did it up with the saddlebags and dettachable windshield and backrest, tryed to make it better for touring. Went to Strugis, 3,300 miles on that trip, decided I wanted a touring bike.
2006, the 96cid engine and a 6 speed trans on the 07's put me over the edge, I traded in myFXDX (with 20,000 miles) and got the FLHX, love the bike. Bought it in October, it now has 2,200 miles on it, and as soon as I get my tax money back (doing my taxes in two days) I'm buying custom wheels for her! Already have the chrome front end, I will install it the same time as the wheels.

When I was 14 or so, just before the Ice Age ended, I had taken my Dad's rusted out Lawn mower engine and bolted it to my coaster bike. Worked fine till I stomped on the loose drive belt, no centrifugal clutch either, and pretty much stripped the spokes out my rear whell. Dang I 'Slammed' a coaster bike.

in 64, I got a Moped, but couldn't ride it in the street till i was 16.
65, all licensed up on a Yamaha Twin Jet 110. 9.2 HP of free wheelin fun and rode that thru first year of College
70, used Yamaha 250 Catalina twin. Had it for a couple of years while in the Navy
76, 1972 Honda CB 550 Four. Used it as a commuter mostly andgave up riding in 83 while the kids were growing .
03, 03 HD Sportster 883XLH Hugger, to be for the better half
04 96 HD FLHTCI, my ride still
04 01 HD FLHTCI, her's converted to a trike.

1967 Ducati 1cyl 350 - I was 16 when I bought it. The bike didn't run and I rebuilt the tranny and drove it for a couple of years. What an experience
1973 Yamaha 500 - I bought this bike when I was in the navy in San Diego. Rode it everyday for over 3 years. I also rode the thing home from SD to north Missouri.
2001 Honda Reflex 250 scooter - bought this one for the wife. Its a blast for what it is.
2003 Harley 883 Sportster 100th anniversity model. This is the bike that got me back into riding.
2004 Electraglide Classic- well, what can I say
2005 Electraglide Ultra - might as well go all the way huh
