Can anyone help me find a chrome Live to Ride console fuel door that will fit my 06 ultra, I have bought so many made by egal iorn on ebay but they will not fit. I need
Chorme not Gold.

ill never understand why people insist on putting that 'live to ride' theme on their bikes..... but, opinions are like azzholes though

Thanks for help guys, I am looking for the fuel door its self not a stick on as thats what I have, they still make the gold one, but I know there some old ones out there somewhere, buddy of mine has on on his 06.

You know fourms are great but you do have those ***holes who have to make post that are not needed, but thanks for the help to the others.

I'm in the same boat as you. I went with chrome flames and not everything thing is in chrome. I got the "gold" fuel door and have been using simichrome polish to wax away the "gold" its just about faded out now after three polishings. There might be something that is stronger that would work better and faster.

I though about trying that, when the gold is gone you think the chorme will still be shiney. Again what you using to get the gold off.

First Harley huh? If you knew how big a inside joke Harley riders consider guys who load their bikes with"Live to Ride stuff" was you would be ripping that stuff off rather than hunting it. Im not judging your choice I just thought you might want to know the truth.

The chrome is shiny underneath, but it still has a tint to it. I've been using Happich Simichrome Polish imported from Germany. All the bike shops in this area carry it.

You know I like this forum, there tons of nice guys and gals on it, but I guess as in everthing you have a % of those that are not happy with there life so they have to get on here voice there un wanted comments, I ask a simple question and got some good response, but for those who I will name, that have told me how they dont like my choice of chrome, I put on my bike, go get you a life and become a happy person. No its not my first bike, so again your wrong.
