Default Install time on passing lamps for Street Glide

Can anyone give me a time frame on how long it takes to installpassing lampsand signal kit for the Street Glide. I was quoted 2-3 hours at my dealer and am wondering if it's fair or not.
Thanks

not fair....for someone who sposed ta know how it should take an hour or less...trick is to assemble loosely and feed all the wires thru on the bench...then tighten em down in a logical order(instructions aint real clear)...then put it on the bike...all thats left is takin the lower dash and ignition switch off to install the switch...while your there go ahead and piggyback the orange wire to the red wire on the acc switch to make em stay on when your headlite's on high...it did take me acoupla hours cause i built it all and tighten'd it up without payin attention to the wires ...had to redo it

HD makes lights that goes on the engine guard that will light up the night, get attention in daytime, and the bulbs are about five bucks. I have them and everyone says they are brigther. They keep the clean look that the SG has.

I just installed these lights on my '06 SG, LOVE the look, plus kept the wiring hidden for a more custom look.

I have these said lights on and they are alot brighter than stock. If you change the headlight bulb to a Sylvania Silverstar you will notice a huge change in the amount of light you throw out into the night. Just my .02

I did mine in 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Plus. I had to run all the wires back through the lamp housings because they were removed when I had them blacked out so that put me behind a bit.

All in all it is an easy job and if you have little time to do it don't even bother to start the install. Set aside an afternoon and take your time and enjoy it. That is what I call 'fun wrenching'.

Bad azz electraglide, thats some lighting on your bike, shouldnt be a problem seeing you at night.
Could proably light up a football field.like the lights on the crashbars, nice look. Just got a 2007 SG , moved up from a 95 softail custom.

Took me a little over an hour to install on my Road King Custom, I'm no pro but it was really easy.
