FYI...if you get the HD vented lowers thru any of the online dealers at 20% off it works out to be $540 with free shipping!

I put the OEM Vented Lowers like a month ago. I have not put speakers yet, but it's on my plans. So far, I love them.

Got the lowers on my FLHX with speakers. Love it em and the speakers.

During the summer I leave the lowers on but remove the doors or whatever they are called.

Love them, they were from HD and very easy to install. I thought that I might take them off during the summer, but I doubt it.

How about a link to the ebay auction? Can't provide any advise w/o knowing what you are considering.

Adding the CVO speaker boxes/housings w/ an amp is an excellent audio mod IMO.

And, for me, I like the "look" of the SG with the fairing lowers.

Of course, you'll need to ditch the mustache engine guard.

I am getting ready to add the lower fairings with the BOOM audio package. I think they are great but the only down side is once you add the speakers your keeping them on all the time. But I have heard a lot of guys say they never take them off.

wanting to do the same thing. the guys iv talked to say the same thing, you wont want to take them off when you get them on. iv also heard that the H-D fairings fit the best.
sorry cant give you first hand experience but good luck with your project.
