Old posts are OK! This is what I have been looking for in a filter/cooler combo. No more oil on regulator. I believe i will use the low mount cooler though if there is room enough.
GREAT site Thanks guys

Looks like was a great idea to me, I am sure it does look better with the new braided lines, I definately wouldn't have thought about it. I don't run a cooler but only know a few people that do around here.

Was that a DK Custom filter, looks similar to the re-useable one they have.

Being able to relocate somewhere other than it's present location would be awesome. All It would need is longer lines and you can put it in a number of places. When someone finds out what adapter is being used please post a link, I'd like to investigate it further...thank you.

I run the jerry rigs system up front but I don't think he is in business anymore. I have tried to contact him and he no longer has a website. I run
the moore bracket at the back of my bike but not as a oil filter but as a catch can.

I have relocated the filters on two softails and an FLH using Dan Moore's setups. You can get the complete bolt on kits or parts/pieces.

I wouldn't mind something that offsets it at its current location so its easier to remove (esp if some idiot overtightens it on you, happened to me at a Dealer on the road). Like out 1" and up 1" kinda thing.

Give Tom a call if interested....he's on that forum frequently.

I have a similar set up on my 2012 FLHTK. I purchased the parts from DK Custom Products. (They also offer an oil cooler set up) http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Cool...NC-OFR-2WT.htm
I covered the rubber lines with a heat sleeve and sealed this to the line with an adhesive lined heat shrink tubing.
