Trying to decide what look to go with. I want a contrast cut look to the bike. Mix of black and chrome

 

I have never found the "blacked out" look good on anything but the sheet metal and bags. With your color, chrome is the way to go. In my opinion.

 

Ya I'm kind of leaning that way...I find the chrome crash bars stand out more. Thought the black might be more subdued.

 

I saw one Saturday when we stopped for lunch off the Blue Ridge Parkway - looked great, but they also had some other chrome bits PC'd black (front end, floor boards, hron, air cleaner, shift linkage) so it worked. Not sure I would do it without changing some of your other parts to black as well...just my opinion.

 

Not a Street Glide, but how about a blacked out Red Hot SunGlow "Street" King?

Sorry for not exactly answering your question as my ride is an RG instead of a SG. She was red hot sunglo until a couple of months ago. Now she is Candy Apple Red with Burgandy and Black Tribal deisgns.

At least you can see some black bars on red. I like it better than chrome but we all dance to a different drummer.
