What is your hobby or past life? I served in the 82nd ABN for over half my career so I am thinking about something to do with paratroopers.

I used Attitude Custom Painting in Florida. I found their website by accident. Basically, I looked at their completed work on their website and found something I liked. I then called Scott and had him change this and that. Those guys are amazing and have unbelievable talent.

Tim,

Don't be so quick to give up on your ribbons. Take a look at this guy's work in north-central Indiana. He did my ghost-flames and has done a lot of flag-ribbon work. His paint jobs have won some pretty big shows. Pricing is reasonable.

The wife and I had some custom paint done a few years ago.

We looked at lot of pictures and gathered ideas or elements from their work and discussed with our painter what we liked and didn't like. He then did a sketch of what he understood to be what we wanted. We asked for some changes he did another sketch and we signed off on it. Well I should say that is how my wife did her bike...

Me, I knew what I wanted.... Black base with white flames. No pin stripping. Very old school. Billy (my painter) argued for pinstripes and I shut him down. In the end he was surprised how well it turned out...

My wife's bike...

Paint is very subjective. Pick a color you like and discuss either a theme, graphics or air brushing with your painter of choice. I am partical to candy apple red so both of my bikes have the same base coat.
