I want to buy an 07 softail deuce but with hearing about these tranny problems I may reconsider. Anyone with a 07 softail heve any issues? I would really like to know before I drop 20 grand on my first HD. I have ridden japanese bikes for the past 15 years and have never had any real problems.
did anybody check out the latest iron works mag. Page 34. Well lookie here. Baker to the rescue. Helical cut replacement gears for the 07's. The complete kit is $900.00 retail. baker says there is a noise problem but harley is still in denial. go figure! Did everyone know that on the early made 06's, you can get a new regulator installed free. Seems the regs are premature to go bad
