Leave the wife at home and lay the backrest all the way back and sit on the scoot, man that double stack of memory foam is real comfy

Got one of these:
http://www.jpcycles.com/product/830-549
Blue Max Saddle bag chair.

Compact, fair price, heavy for it's size though. Is quite comfortable. Mine needed some fixing as one of the fittings was put together incorrectly, quick fix. And, there was some rust on the grommets, like it had be used or opened and then sent back. Overall pretty good, and it does fit in the saddle bag.

Probably OK for the wife but my 280 lbs would quickly make that a wasted 20 bucks

Depends on whether you want quality or quantity.

We take our dog with us so can't go into restaurants when we stop so we've been looking for chairs that we could carry with us on the bike so we don't have to sit on curbs.

As soon as we saw this thread we quickly ordered 2 of the chairs last night. I think they'll be awkward to set up and put away but I'm sure we'll get used to it quickly enough.

Thanks for sharing the link. Pretty cool concept and don't have to get a loan to own them.

I guess I'll be the first of the hundred to recommend a Kermit chair. It is a little pricey but quality cost and it is an american made product. Met the owner down at the Leesburg bikefest and he's the kind of guy you want to buy from. Guess you could always buy a made in China product if you want (jmo). Get the leg extensions unless you're not very tall. Beer holder is a nice touch too!

Does the Kermit Chair fit in the Saddlebag?

Does not fit in saddlebag or tour pack but it packs in its' own canvas bag that can be strapped down easily.

I have this really cool camping/backpacking chair. It packs to the size of a wine bottle (8 inches by 3 inches) and weighs 18 OZ. It isn't a chair where you are up 2 feet off the ground BUT I think it is really comfortable.
It fits in the saddle bags of my SPORTIE (bags for a sportie are tiny) You can also use it like a rocking chair. I took it camping like a month ago was great. I found this picture on google on how it works.
