Street Glide Seat

My suggestion would be to look into finding a take off seat from a CVO SG as they are lower and a much better seat front and rear than what your sitting on now. Look in the CVO section and see if any are around. Good Luck.
My 2 cents.

Had the same problem with my new Streetglide. Just received my new SportTour from C & C Seats yesterday. SWEET SEAT! Puts my feet flat on the ground and I had the back moved forward 2". All leather with Devils Tail pattern in a red thread.
Ordered matching backrest. $675 total including custom work. Fantastic quality and craftsmanship! I was a die-hard Corbin fan until now. Chuck and Chuey are tops!!!
Will post pics later.

I have the sundowner on my '10 SG. I like it for long trips and all, but i notice that it causes me to slouch. I am a big fan of the stock seat. Makes me sit up straight and doesn't hurt the back. If its more reach and the "flat foot" on the ground your looking for, consider boots with thicker bottoms. Thats what i did. They aren't KISS height but they aren't thin either. They are the Harley eagle boots. Just a thought.

I have an absolutely beautiful C & C solo seat for sale.
You will be hard pressed to find a higher quality seat. I bought it two months before I painted the bike orange and it does not look good with the red thread. I have only used it about three times because we normally rode double up with a Mustang seat.
This seat has the gel insert and it is 100% perfect with all the mounting hardware.
It does lower you down 1 inch and at 6'1" tall and the FLHX already lower than the other touring bikes it is really too low for me.
I paid $525.00 for the seat and the first $350.00 gets it.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I recently bought the C&C Squareback for the 01 EGC. I have put over 1600 miles on it so far and love it. Lower and further back, I feel better connected in turns. I thought i would put the stock "couch" back on for a long trip, but having pulled a few 300 mile day leisure rides, I think I like it on the long trips too.

We ordered the 2010 Screaming Eagle Street Glide Seat for the wife's 09 Street Glide. It is narrower in the front so it get you flat footed. The driver seating surface is leather but the passenger surface is vinyl. It looks good on the bike while some of the seats look bulky or too big. It is more comfortable for the driver and the wife has rode on the back and said it was comfortable as well far better than stock. I think the part number is 51995-10A. I attached a couple of photos.

I have been liking this seat from HD. It sits lower with more cush than stock. Most dealers sell it for $240 or so.
