Default Anyone have a Dyno sheet on Stage1 96" w/SE 255 cams??

As "iclick" calls it (respectfully) "Stage 1 1/2"... I know... ANOTHER Cam thread! So, as alot other of people, I'm trying to decide between the SE 255 & TW6-6 cams. I've searched & read cam thread's for weeks, till my eyes are blury! I like all kinds of riding styles... Solo 50% of the time (No, or Chopped Tour Pak), 2-up Touring (w/King Tour Pak & speakers, (X-tra weight) 30% of the time, with "The Boy's" (and their Hot Rod 95"ers) 20% of the time, & tend to hit the rev limiter on "occation" during all of these styles. Hopefully, economy permitting, a 103" BB w/ some mild head work is within the next year or two and don't want to change cams again then. I have read post's from all the people I respect here,(UltraKla$$ic, iclick,PhilM,Dalton, Hog-Doc,Harleypingman...just to name a few) I know.. they are all not of the same opinion, but I'd just like to see a dyno sheet on the 255's to see where the TQ/HP comes in compared to the many dynos available for the TW6-6's on a Stage 1 96".
And, "Gunner", I know, It's my bike & I'll do what I want to so, please, NO !! LOL!!
Both my buddy Jack (Daniel's, my excuse for rambling!) & I , Thank you, Dave
PS. ...Can already tell this will be edited as I sober up! LOL!!

Thanks, I too lived in Boise for 10+ years! Loved it! Only moved here because elderly parents needed help, hope to move back someday! Hear you guy's got a GREAT new place in Meridian and no longer on Chinden!
Thanks for any info you can post, Dave

This is the best chart I've seen on a stock TC96 with Stage 1 and 255's. Usually TQ peaks between 98-100 with these cams, but the key isn't the peak but the shape of the curve, starting early and remaining flat throughout.

Here's a good discussion of the 255's and why some feel they work so well in a bagger. Note Herko's remarks on reply #10.

WOW! Thanks iclick! I see why they are refered to as TQ monsters! Looks like about 90 lbs. @ about 17-1800rpm... Just what I wanted to see!
Thanks again, Dave

Take a peek at the SE-204 also. I had pretty good luck with this cam in my 96".

91.6hp / 109tq

+1... It's precisely the flat torque curve characteristic and that it starts early that made me decide on installing the 255 in my 07 SG in the near future. Thanks for posting it, iclick.

Here is the comparison between the 255 and TW6. They are different cams for sure but its all about what you are looking for. I think you have to ride with each of the cams to see what you like. I doubt the dyno charts tell the full story. JMHO.

Please tell us a bit of what we're looking at here. Is this an SE204 installed in a stock TC96? What Stage 1 components were you using (mufflers, etc.) and what was changed between the red and blue dyno run?
