Question Road Glide Solo Seat

OK, I want a solo seat for my 2010 Roady.
Looked at the HD Sig seat but some say it sits you higher than the stock seat.

So, Looking for a RG solo seat, sits as low if not lower than stock, moderately priced with backrest.

Any suggestions?

wife says I also want ice water in hell.....

Another question
with a tourpac installed and a small pad on the box, is there a need for a backrest on the solo seat?

Thanks

With your tour pak forward in "solo" mode. The tour pak's pad is your backrest?...right?

I use a mustang solo with BR. It fits great with my solo mounted tour pack. I removed the tour pack pad so I have room to adjust the BR; it fits nicely in that space. Attached is a pic. Hope this helps.

Thanks all for the responses. I guess it'll all depend on if I get a solo with or without a drivers backrest on the seat.
If I do, then no pad on the tourpac, if not then I'll install a pad on the box.....simple enough.
I did enjoy the pictures of your solo setups....I think I'm going to like the look and having my box back....sold the 07 EGC and do miss the box.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas All.....

I have a Corbin solo classic with corbin back rest on my 2010 Roady.... Its the ticket for me, but not cheap. Its a personal choice that each biker has to make. I'm sure you will find the combination that will best suit you....... hdman

I'm running a Danny Gray solo on my 2010 Roady. (God I love this bike...)
I don't have a back rest but you can get them with one...I think.

C&C seats are a Great source of awesome solo seats and Yes you can get a backrest.

I'd include a picture, but I'm at work and they block photobucket...
I'll post one later today.

One more thing. This 2010 Road Glide is the best, funnest, sexiest bike I have ever owned. This is from someone that up until two weeks ago owned Three batwing bikes...

Damn thing is FUN. Glad to be on the dark side now...

Mustang seats won't disapoint. Takes a few miles to break it in to fit you, but it is one comfortable seat.
