Well Ive racked up 280 miles so far and I could not be happier. The new frame and motor mounts make the bike feel like its not a harley. There is almost not shaking at idle and the bike is smooth in all gears and at all speeds. Cornering is great and my level of confidence has gone way up do to the way the new frame makes the bike hold a line. The new heli cut 5th gear is quiet as a mouse, and the lower gear ratio is spot on over my old 07 RKC. Before I was always looking to find that sweet spot to cruise in. But it was either to tall or to low. The 2009 and 2010 gear ratio's are perfect. There is no surging or lean spots in the stock EFI mapping and the heat is way cooler than my 07 RKC with andrews 26's and a PCV. It was 70 here all weekend and my 07 would be hot as hell. My 2010, I did not even notice the heat. We will see how that plays out come next summer. Im hoping to not do a damn thing to this one but just drive it. Maybe and oil cooler will be next in line to install? The ABS Brembo brakes are also spot on. Harley has restored my faith in them at this point. To sum it up, Harley has finally made a modern motorcycle. Next for them is a water cooled tour.
