The security system won’t disarm with the FOB in my driveway. It works ok any other place. I have to use the turn signal code to start every time and sometimes that won’t do it. The alarm will go off before the code is completely entered sometimes or it will keep cycling over and over for about 5 minutes. I have looked for any rf interference nearby. I went as far as to turn the electric power off for the house at the breaker box to kill all WIFI and took all the batteries out of the walk phones. I moved all cars away in case they had something causing it. There are no power lines nearby. This has been a real PITA to figure out. My 2008 Ultra had the same type of security system and had no problems. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Explain what your driveway is like where you park. IE Flat, slight grade, steep grade? How close are other houses?
I don't know how the HD system is designed but back when I had my jeep with an aftermarket security system I had a tilt/tow sensor go bad. Could park that thing all day long on flat surfaces but if I parked on a steep incline the security would not allow it to start. Turned out to be a bad tilt/tow senser that wouldn't compesate any more for steep inclines(usually they do).
Just an idea?
I have metered the batteries on both fobs and they are 3v as they should be. I live in the middle of a subdivision with no towers in site, no underground lines. The power line for the house is in the back. I have taken it back to the dealer twice and of course it works there but they looked it over and reprogrammed the system. I guess I can use my HD radio signal detector and move down the street 10 feet at a time and try to center the source.

The drive way is flat. I have had the bike 1 week now and it’s done it from day 1. My 2008 did not have this problem. Don’t know if the security system is the same but my Smart Siren from my 2008 plugged right up and the pager works as it should.

I've had this happen to me on 2 different occasions with 2 different bikes. The first time with my'07 RKC.I was on the road.Leaving my motel, had to bypass the security system, got down the road to a gas station, bike started right up,never happened again. The motel was right next to an airport.Summer before last on my '08 EGC,leaving a motel on the Ore. coast had to bypass the security system, never happened again.I'm guessing some rfi of some kind.
