Default Need Your Opinions!! SE 110 ci limited Maps

All,

I recently had the SE 110 ci Big Bore Kit added to my '07 Street Glide along with a PC-V (Fuelmoto) that I already had. I was advised by Fuelmoto that their maps are very, very, limited for a 110 ci motor, basically almost non-existent.

They actually provided me with a map for a 110 ci w/ 2 into 1 Thunderheader, which I downloaded yesterday, but I have TD Thunderheaders. So, to make a long story short, the bike was popping, sputtering, and it used an excessive amount of gas yesterday, 3/4 tank for a roundtrip of 150 miles!

My build was done by an HD dealership but they did not Dyno tune it due to the 500 mile break-in period. It will be tough getting the 500 miles in with a bike that runs like crap, especially here in Michigan when its getting really cold.

What do you guys suggest?? Will the PC V Autotune help me?

All comments/ideas are welcomed!

i would suggest the SERT and an Indy shop. However, the auto tune will make your bike run much better.

What cams are in the 110?? if they are big lift then 3/4 tank for 150 mi is good!! 3/4 tank is about 3.75 gal, 150 miles, call it 40mpg. Highway fuelling cant be too bad, maybe just your idle settings are off??

As chris said you could get a sert, the SERT disc comes with lots of canned maps that would get you running better. Of course if you wanted a sert you would have bought one instead of the PCV.

If I was you I would have a big whinge to your dealer who built the motor. Surely they have some maps. Its not like 110ci engines are rare or new or special.
