Default Another Road Glide Hard lowers Question

I have a 2008 Road Glide and willbe installing hard lowers as one of my winter projects, question is which way to go. Have debated on Hogg Chopps, not quite sure if I like the looks. I like the factory lowers and have 2 options, buy the new 2010 fairing brackets and braceand buy the factory vented lowers, or buy the factory Road Glide non vented lowers and install aftermarket vents such as Hoppes vents. Thoughts?

I would get the 2010 brackets and vented lowers. I have a 08 with the non vented and there pretty hot in the summer, and are tight to the foot controls.

How deep are your pockets? Hogg Chopps, $355 delivered. Either harley solution is significantly more than that amount.

If money is no object, then the vented Ultra lowers, using the 2010 fairing mounting brackets, are probably the way to go.

I did the Hogg Chopps.

Get the brackets and look for a set of used vented ones with the glove boxes then add the Hogg tunes speakers kit to it, then you can thank me later LOL!

I think you will still have to remove the HD ones in the summer and you will be back to the buffeting problem....HoggChopps can stay on year around plus more foot clearance.

Which lowers are these? Did you just add aftermarket vents to the RG lowers?
