Default Anyone running a 23" front wheel?

Looking for something a lil different than the 21". Just wondering about any negatives with handling or whatever. Thanks.

Saw one at Biketoberfest, guy said it was 25". Dunno, fugger was huge.

FWIW, I was on a mission to make a big radius fit my RG and that guy did it. Obviously has more cash and time than me

Oh...with a 23" you will definitely suffer when it comes to handling. I can tell a difference between my 21" and my friends stock 17". It seems to be a little more squirrelly IMO. It's subtle but definitely there...especially when loaded down.

Something to consider is that these large diameter wheels use narrow section tyres, which have a much lower load rating than the stock ones. OK for short rides on a stripped custom, but a fully loaded bike is going to be pushing the front tyre over its limits IMHO. Looks great but I would only do it for show, not extended trips.

That last pic looks like the guy cut out his patio table with tin snips and used it as a wheel.
