Picked up my Black/Black Ice Pearl FLHTK just before our typical November monsoon started - very nice upgrade from my 07 FLHTC.

I'm surprised, though, that both the Limited and the CVO don't have the full guard rails around the saddlebags. I've been considering adding the ones that come stock on the Ultra. Some cager idiot hitting the bags with a car door would result in an incredibly hard job retouching the Black Ice Pearl paint.

Was going to order the Vivid Black / Blue Ice but was offered a deal I coldn't refuse on the Merlot / cherry. For all thos wondering what that combo looks like. The pictures do NOT do it justice. In the sun the color just EXPLODES.

Considered one untill a test ride showed it would need a bit of cash to make the 103 set-up perform the way a 103 should. Other knock was the saddlebag guard, full guards not used due to the CVO like paint swoop on the bags.

Picked up my Ultra Limited Black/Black Ice on 9/9/09. Have about 1200 miles on it now. Only mods are a couple pieces of chrome, and a pair of Rush slash downs, 1.5 baffles. Love the bike. Rides like a dream. Only thing that's annoying is black sure does attract dust. Jr.

2010 FLHTK today 11-10-2009 ( Whoo Hoo !)
I expected a difference but was surprised at the sound of the exhaust,
I may keep this one completely stock. 180 mile ride to another state to get the
Blue/Black combo I wanted........The ride home was wonderful ! What a difference.

For the price/options , I believe this is the only way to go.
