I have V/H MO's on my 2009 Streetglide and like the look and sound which is deep and not too loud. I also went with Hogtunes speakers and amp so hearing the radio is not a problem.

Good string. I just picked-up a EG Ultra Limited yesterday, and those stock mufflers gotta go. I had V&H Ovals on my Road King, and SuperTrapp SEs on my EG Classic. Both sounded good, especially the SuperTrapps. I saw some MOs on a bike at the dealer yesterday -- nice to see the good review on them. Kinda pricey, though

Has anyone heard the Monster Ovals side by side with the Rinehart Slip Ons to get a sense of which of the 2 is louder? I really like both of them.

Rinehart Racing is NOT out of business. they just updated their website last week and now have an 18 month warranty instead of the 90 days they had when they were with BUB. They are now partnered with Custom Chrome

rinehartracing.com

I love my RH slipons on my 09, plenty loud but can still hear the music at cruising speed. If they were any louder it could become annoying on a longer trip. When listening to them side by side they are a little louder than the monster ovals and just a little less loud than the V&H regular ovals.

I've got the MO's on my '09 Ultra, and I love the sound at idle. They're a little quieter than I'd like, but after 4k miles they're getting slightly louder. They absolutely looked the best IMHO, I love the look with the wider rear tire and fender. Looks more balanced.

Muffler threads can go on forever. We all like something until we hear something better.
Buy what you like to look at and if it isn't loud enough...put a set of cams in it. ;-)
