The following dyno chart was done on a 2009 Touring model with Stage 1 air cleaner and PC-V:
RED run: Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers
BLUE run: Jackpot Quiet Baffle w/Insert removed
GREEN run: Jackpot Quiet Baffle w/Silent Insert installed
NAVY run: Stock OEM mufflers
Jamie, do you have any dynos (with comparisons) using the competition baffles?

Jamie, do you have any dynos (with comparisons) using the competition baffles?
We developed the Competition baffles several months back so I do not have a direct comparison with the quiet baffles. Here is a chart for the Comp baffles which was done on the same bike, however note this was done on a different day, different air conditions, etc..
The Comp baffles work very well and have a very broad curve and deliver maximum sound at full throttle
.
Jamie, With the quite baffle ,,, Would you say the sound is deeper & lower,, Llike the Monster Oval or just lower??
Our Quiet baffles are much quieter than the Monster Ovals which are very similar in dB level to our standard Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers. Our mufflers have a nice deep tone, without the droning or resonance some mufflers have.
Will this put me back to the power level of the standard Jackpots??
The Quiet baffle with the Silent insert removed is within 2 Hp/2 Tq of our standard baffle. These are better #s than any other quiet muffler, due to the sound level combined with the excellent overall performance of the Dyno Tuned muffler it is not possible to match the Hp/Tq as our Dyno Tuned baffle with a quiet baffle. On a side note the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers with our standard baffle has a very mild dB level with a nice deep tone in the cruise range and a throaty powerful tone in the upper RPM's. I recommend these mufflers to most riders. There are plenty of reviews in this thread http://hdforums.com/forum/touring-mo...-slip-ons.html
We developed a couple of baffle options for the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers. The first is the Tunable Quiet baffle for those looking for a very quiet exhaust. This baffle features a Stainless Steel chambered core and includes a "Silent Insert" which can be easily removed or reinstalled. With the insert in the mufflers are near OEM sound levels with a nice deep tone, while removing the insert gives you a bit more sound at a mild dB level. The other baffle we developed is the Competition baffle which provides maximum sound with a deep aggressive tone. There is more info on the baffles at www.jackpotmufflers.com/accessories If anyone has any questions just let me know. Here is a picture of the Quiet baffle with insert
