That's the best dB comparison data I've ever seen and the fact that it was collected at the same location under the same conditions makes it even more valuable.

Thanks Jamie

The Quiet baffle is specifically designed for the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers and replaces the right hand baffle. Yes, we will have PC III and PC-V maps available.

Default Good info.

I was under the impression that the new jackpot mufflers were louder or deeper sounding than the Rineharts ??
I herd a lot of guys saying the Rineharts were not loud enough ..???
Let me no if I,m wrong , I,m looking for a nice deep tone exhaust on the louder side and am seriuosly considering your new jackpots ,, with the PC and AC set up for my new Street Glide ..

great info. after reading the results on the dB's i'm getting closer to going with the Fuel Moto packages. maybe if the whp numbers between the different mufflers were available like the dB's were it would be enough to push me over the edge.

Will you add the Supertrapp's that you sell to your comparison list?

Is there any performance change when replacing the right hand baffle with the Quiet baffle?

If Fuelmoto assembles a table with competitors exhaust that covers db at idle and open throttle as well as hp/tq #s off the same bike with just the exhaust change... they'll have a winner. If the sound and performance favor the Jackpots, it'll make the purchase decision a no-brainer and generate significant new sales, IMO.

dB tests are to be used as a general guideline which measures sound pressure. Most important to note is that this does not measure frequency which means you cannot draw a conclusion of the tone based on these tests. I can tell you first hand that many times a muffler that sounds louder than another may actually dB test quieter, it all comes down to baffle design and frequency. We spend an absorbent amount of time making the baffles what we feel are just right in the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers using a wide range of testing and customer feedback. Performance wise the Dyno Tuned mufflers make the best Hp/Tq of any slip on muffler and we have even guaranteed this since we started building them and this sets the bar very high for our baffle development. Simply put, since we are starting with a design that makes max hp/tq if we quiet them down it is going to affect power outpot to some extent. I will post dyno charts shortly.

The following dyno chart was done on a 2009 Touring model with Stage 1 air cleaner and PC-V:
RED run: Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers
BLUE run: Jackpot Quiet Baffle w/Insert removed
GREEN run: Jackpot Quiet Baffle w/Silent Insert installed
NAVY run: Stock OEM mufflers
