I prefer the Avon Venoms. They have better handling and wet traction in my experience, although they do wear a little faster than Metzlers or Dunlops.

Running Metzler's for about two years and no issues, smooth ride, clean handling. Can't speak for Avons.

Metz or Avon you will be happy. You will notice a big difference from the Dunflops.

We rode on our Avon Venoms to the Czech Republic in June, from our home in the UK, and visited the Budweiser Budvar brewery. Most satisfying! If you want a bit of fun, switch to the Czech language version! Utterly incomprehensible, but lovely beer.
