Default Fuel Pack

Okay, first of all, before you all chastize me for letting my dealership do the work, it was a 'time-sensitive' issue. That said, I had my local dealership put on some V&H slip on mufflers (Black Widow) on the bike with the fuel pack. The question I have, is the fuel pack wired into the bike or is it a plug-and-play and put back in the box? Bottom line, I have a feeling it's the latter of the two, and I did not get the fuel pack/software from them. Want to be sure before I go see them on it. Thanks-

If you are talking about V&H Fuel Pac then it is plugged into the factory ECM and then the wiring harness is plugged into it. Stays on the bike. Should be a clear lid box a little bigger than a pack of smokes with a wiring harness running to the ECM plug. If they just did mufflers only,no other mods, they may have done a stage one download which changes the ECM program and nothing stays on the bike.

There is no software for it either.... Everything you need for it is on their website. Pull your seat off and you should see it velcro'ed to your ecm.

Look under your right side cover, that's where mine is located. As far as software, there isn't any. V&H onlt has preset tunes, mine came with a list of codes to match my bike setup. If you did not get the papers from your dealer, ask for them. You can always contact V&H thay will send you a copy.

Thanks, appreciate the responses. I'll look for the fuel pack tomorrow, either under the seat or next to the ECM under the right side cover. Just had it done and frankly, had not looked for it.
