According to Accel's installation sheet this module has limitations. It works as a stand alone tuner when pipes, air cleaner and/or cam are changed. The cam cannot exceed .520" lift in applications up to 103 ci and .580" lift in 96 to 110 ci with no changes in the factory valve or rocker arm configurations. Basically bolt in cams. Any cam larger or "other engine" modifications, ie head porting and you will need another aftermarket tuner which the SLM will work in conjunction with to fine tune the bike. Basically it is an auto tune like the PC-V's auto tune without the ability to expand it's abilities like the PC-V can. I think I'll stick with my PC-V.

Thanks for bringing that one up, I had not seen it yet and am curious now. I read what drewski1325 read in their (accel's) data sheet but for the $$ it still looks promising.

I have no plans for cam change, would like to make the air/exhaust changes made perform a bit better.

interesting....

The PC-V is a Power Commander 5. Go to Fuel Moto's website, they are a sponsor of this site. They carry several fuel management system. Very good customer service. They can help select what is right for your application. That's were I bought mine. Jamie helped me select mine after discussing what I wanted to do.
