Where inside the fairing is the best place to mount the ant? Does it really matter? thought about just sticking it to the top of the radio body?
I'd like to hear the answer to the location question too. I've got a Dakota Digital that I'll be trying-out and I'd like to put in a spot likely to give it the best chance for success.

I stuck mine right above the headlights on the fairing. I ended up throwing it away cuz I would get popping when ever I turned the ignition off. But I had a hawg wired amp and xm radio. I would move it as far away from the head unit as you can, I think there was a 3 foot lead.
