Best place to buy HD gear - jackets and such?

Im leaning towards getting a FXRG jacket for the winter... where to find the best deal online? My local dealers would have to order my size anyways, thus I may as well save some $$ and order it myself

Check on here in the classifieds, and hunt online H-D dealers for close-outs. I was in the same boat as you in the spring. Someone on here pointed me to a dealer near him that was closing out the last years models FXRG jackets for 1/2 off ($300). I love this jacket. It feels broke in from the start and has great features built in.

I believe the dealer I bought from was in Indianapolis.

As was already mentioned. Chicago HD and Zanotti HD both offer 20% of everyday. You pay shipping but for me, Indiana, I don't pay sales tax.

Check out www.leatherup.com. Can't beat their prices on chaps. Got an awesome pair for the ol' lady and me and a cool vest for myself as well. As far as the jacket I agree with RoadKingLou to check ebay. As my bike is maxed out in Willie G. I found a sweet leather Willie G. HD jacket at about a $75.00 savings from the HD price. Then again if you can get a HOG discount you may be better off with the shop price by the time you pay S&H.

I ordered a set of chaps from them that just came on Saturday. I am pretty disappointed with the quality of them. I really feel like you get what you pay for especially when I look at the snaps and zippers on them. I looked at the Harley dealer yesterday at their "stock" chaps and they seem like a MUCH better quality item. I think I am gonna send the leatherup chaps back and just buy the HD's. They will not be that much more money when I get my 20% discount at the dealer.
