I am amazed that I am riding the same bike. We worked late so I only got to take it for about a 20 mile ride but that sucker has some pep to it. I am very anxious to get it out on the road this weekend to do a breakin ride to where I can actually start running it up a little. Man what a difference the heads/pistons made. I had the cams installed for a couple trips before hand and I think I gained at least as much as I gained with the cams when we did the big bore setup. I'm hoping to get it setup to dyno sometime next week.
Congrats, between the extra displacement. And a little extra compression to get those cams happy. Ill bet it is like riding a whole new bike.
Do you know what Bean cc'd your heads to? Also did you go back with the .030 cometic gaskets?

heads were cc'd at 85 cc's. Right at 10.5:1 compression. Yes we used .030 cometic gaskets.

Are you still grinning?
You are at a good CR for those cams. Good choice going with BB, Bean knows his stuff. Cant wait to see what the sheet looks like, have seen and heard good things about those 54's.

I did the same build on my 08. I can't imagine what else I could have done that would have been better. 96HP and 120TQ. Even on a generous dyno this is great power. I got everything I wanted and more. Good mileage, great power. I use 6th gear a lot more now. Sometimes I think I'm in 5th when I'm actually in 6th. Name the gear and/or the rpm and there is power. 4000 miles on my build and there is a noticeable difference after break in. Keep us updated.

Post your sheet if you can. Can be a good reference tool for others contemplating the same/similar build. Almost better to know when/where your making power as opposed to peak #'s in my opinion.
