I agree American Thunder is just a long painful commercial.

You guys that get Spike TV might be interested... I sent them an e-mail suggesting they produce a motorcycle show similar to the Horsepower, X-treme 4X4, Trucks and ??? (Brain fart - what's the other one?)... I suggested their audience (If it were H-D based) would be huge if it was produced to the same quality as their other shows. I even offered to give them suggestions for things to cover for the first x shows.

If they get enough e-mail requests they may consider it, after all, it has to be cheaper to produce than car shows that build race trucks/cars from the ground up.

It always sucked! Used to be an infomercial for Performance Machine and Kuryakyn. I'm proud to say I don't have, and will never have, any Kuryakyn garbage on my bikes. It was sad the way they jacked up a nice Streetglide last yeaar and turned it into a two wheel Christmas tree. Now it's about Ness and those fugitives from a snowmobile shop, Victorys and Arlen Ness and family. It's all about seperating a fool from his money. Arlen built an empire doing just that. Sorry I missed it I was out ridin' last night.

Today on "THE NEW" American Thunder.. Im going to Ride a Victory with a member of the ness family, yes just as I did last week, the week before and every other piss poor produced episode of this show. We will go to some rallies, endorse the same companies that pay for this big ass commercial that I host.
Thanks for waisting your time with me...and no, you will never get this half hour of your life back.

I don't watch the show, and I'm not a fan of Victory motorcycles. Just don't connect with the way they look.

But I must say, in a market crowded with hungry competitors, and in a world where things change with lightening speed, advertising works. It gets your message out to different levels of consumers - some of whom are forming opinions about what they want to buy without any particular loyalty either way to Harley.

Coke doesn't stop advertising its products just because it (currently) has an edge on Pepsi.

And Harley's dominance of the domestic market is not something permanently ordained by god.

Think back over the past twelve months - how many innovative ads and marketing initiatives have you seen from Harley, relative to ads, infomercials, and other product placement efforts from Victory or other competitors?

Like badjustbad, I think Harley should be at least paying attention to what their competition is doing. Victory sales are doing real well in a down economy, and they have a large demographic among, especially, younger buyers.

Somebody's watchin' the show.....

I don't understand why Harley doesn't sponsor the show more. Oh yeah they have been selling every bike they can make for over 10 years now. No need to have an infomercial I guess. But the times, they are a changin'.

In the past it was a headache to see them put on Kuryakyn junk every week. But at least we got to see Michelle Smith, not that dumbass Nopi girl they have now.

Nope, didn't watch it. From the comments, glad I didn't waste my time. Maybe the Vics aren't selling all that great as people think and they needed an infomercial/tv show to boost sales? Can't say I've noticed more of them on the road.

There was a thread on here not too long ago talking about how 'pretty' the Victory's were, blah, blah, blah. I lit his a$$ up and was accused of being the Gestapo, etc. Don't care. If you want to post how 'pretty' they are, post it on the f*cking Victory site, Not here you know?

I've looked at them up close during rally's and they just look like cheap p.o.s. to me, and every owner I talk to just bitches about Harley's but has never actually OWNED one. Go figure. Now, I'm a 'live and let live' kind of guy. If you want to own one, fine. Just don't tell me how much you hate Harley's, and how they're 'just as good', because they're not.

Ok, off my soapbox.

Default Don't watch it anymore - BLOWS

No content, but, Victory is " the new American made motorcykle"

I wish they would come with a show for regular riders,
I am sure it would be a hit.

I tried watching a few times, but only made it until the first commercial. The show doesn't interest me.
