103 Stage 1 Download in a 96 ???

Would like for as many of you as possible to ask your Dealer if you put the 103 Stage 1 download in a 96 ????

1.Seems like it would run richer and cooler.

2.The cams will be the same,, so would the timming also be the same???

3.With the 103 Stage 1 you get the Stage 1 A/C with the kit,, so if you buy the Stage 1 A/C and get the 103 download,,,,seems like the days of running lean would be gone??? IF ever thing is equal and only the pistions are larger, than are you just putting in more fuel.

George I asked my dealer this question yesterday. I was told they have done this to a few bikes but did the say the reason why. It does make sense that it would richen the bike up.

My local dealer has suggested to do that when changing the breather and slip-ons on my 2008 FLHX, as the 103 map provides a richer fuel ratio.

I just added the cams in my 08 Ultra and they installed the Stage II map. I also just recenly added the HD oil cooler this parade season will tell the tale........

I've been running the 103 map with a propipe and arlen ness in my 08 Heritage since its 1000 service. Runs great.

This sounds like something that would work great.

I will call my Dealer and see if I can get it instaled and if it fails then go to just Stage 1

Will post results later,,,
