i lowered my 08 rk 2" front 1" rear..front kit is a racetech just make sure you get the right spring rate. they sent me the wrong ones first and the bike bottomed out.. the rear is hd shocks and i'm looking at the arnott kits now..i have had no problems with dragging the boards and love the look..

I lowered mine as well 1" front /rear and i love it also.Yes you do loose a little bit of suspension comfort but its worth the trade off.

by the way do you live in northern va?

I recently swapped out stock for 12" HD air shocks in the rear. Stock front. Wife is complaining a little about ride quality. (We're 180/130) Had MCC rework the seat already. May try the Progressive rear shocks next. Its fine for me by myself. But I like her to ride with me, so her comfort means a lot.
