Default 2009 ABS calibration

They have a new ABS calibration out. The refinement to the ABS calibration reduces the likelihood of unintended ABS activations when braking over bumps, cracks, and other road surface anomalies in otherwise good traction conditions. The change also reduces the likelihood of unintended ABS activation during threshold braking. It also permits reuse of the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) if Electrical Control Unit (ECU) replacement is required. This is for 2009 models. It came out on all the new 2010 models and will work on the 09's as well. I don't know why it doesn't work on 2008's though unless it has something to do with the frame change or something.

Dawg, thanks for the info. Is this something only the dealer can do, or can we download and install ourselves?

Is this a free upgrade under warranty or will it cost us the usual $100 for anything associated with HD?
