I will check with my dealer to find out why it isn't for the 08s as well. Don't think the frame has a damn thing to do with it. I am headed to Sturgis so maybe I'll ask one of the reps at the show in Rapid. If this is true I think I will tell them that I have purchased my last Harley. I'm getting tired of their spoon feeding. I understand they have to keep coming up with "improvements" to make you want to buy a new bike but the've gotten ridiculous with the "upgrade" mentality and then telling you oh your two year old bike is obsolete and we can't help you there. PMO!

This does or does not apply to the 2008 models?

Default Abs

I just had my 08 Ultra ABS re-calibrated using that service bulletin. Noticeable difference.

Default Abs

Not nearly as sensitive as it was before. If I was going over a 'washboard' road I could almost count on the ABS activating......now not so much if at all. Even harder braking would activate the ABS way too early in my opinion. I just looked at my work order from the dealership and they have the Service Bulletin as 1239. I did a a hard brake after leaving the dealership to test out the system and found it much more to my liking. Hope this helps.

Hdard, so you got the M1239 and not the M1251? Here is a link to some SB's( hope I'm not violating and rules) From reading the 2 different SB's the one for '08 doesn't do the same as the one for '09 and up. I'm thinking of getting my 08 RG updated.

I'm curious, since I have TTS, will the digital technician still show which ECU(not ECM) I have?
