I am so glad those people are OK they need to jail all these azzholes that are caught (key word here is caught) texting while driving. Not only that but lets add putting on makeup, fingernail polish, talking on the cell phones and anything else that could put someones life in danger while driving. I know we, could install a device to deactivate the cell phones unless you are 20 feet from the vehicle, or unless the engine is turned off. Like the onboard DUI dectector. That worked out real good didnt it

There has got to be away of disabling texting while in motion of a vehicle along with disabling the phone unless it is synced to the car via bluetooth or 911. Maybe the government could do something productive and accomplish this.

But it's got to be enforced. I see people texting all the time. Scary. If we see it all the time the Hwy patrol has to see it. They've got to start arresting people. Even states that don't have a law against texting if the cops see someone doing it I would think that would come under careless and imprudent. Talking on the cell phone is bad enough. Just can't believe people would be so crazy to try to text while driving.

20 year old driving an 80yr olds grand marquee?

Now the texting part I believe.

Luckily the bike remained upright somehow, and they didn't simply get ran over by the boat on wheels. Chick or not, I'd be beating someone's ass if I managed to walk away from something like this.

What a shame. Good to hear they were not seriously hurt. Last night while riding the I-10W from Florida to La. I was riding next to a driver who spent more time sending text messages than paying attention to the rode. A little unnerving.
