Default RK custom Batwing fairing

Just finished installing a new Memphis Shades Batwing onto my 07 RK Custom so thought i'd post a few pics and a few notes incase anyone else wants to do the same.
$310 delivered to the UK. (from BK Rider ; CA)
Fits RK custom even though it says it doesn't !
30 minutes to install.
Finish is excellent - no paint needed if your bike is black.
Inside of fairing is also excellent finish - smooth black.
Well Built.
Fitting kit is well made and easy to install.
5" screen in pics is a little too low so i've got a 7" on order now (i,m only 5' 7" tall as well).

I looked around for ages at what fairing to buy but decided on this due to cost and it seems to do the job nicely. I,ve installed a small i-pod stereo but the speakers are not seen in the pics.

Let me know if you want anymore info.

Rowle.

I would like info, it looks GREAT, I have been thinking of putting a batwing on my Road King Classic, and I have looked at the Memphis shade.
Does it give a better ride, and how does it effect gas milage, I herd that they don't realy improve the ride but do improve the gas milage.
Thanks
Terry

Edited to say Nice bike by the way

It almost looks translucent black. Do they say paint will actually stick to it?
I'd hate to have it done in that expensive Rich Sunglow Blue and have the paint fall off.

Rowle, since you put it on a Road King, how's the wind resistance, I ask because all the soft tail crowd love's it because you can position so it functions better, where the RK crowd says it is a fixed position and does not function as well, can you share your thoughts ?
How is it at high speed, with a helmet or not, will you still need ear plugs, and how tall are you? really think I want one but need more feedback. Price is great.

1960 big differance from the $310 for the Memphis and you pay the big bucks for the Hoppe, Dead center and Dragon Fly they are the best. If Memphis give's me the wind protection on my face that I'm looking for then I'm happy.

If your painter preps it properly, paint will stick. Most fairings come in a black gel coat that requires very little prep work to get it ready for paint.
