I hope it isn't the ECM taking a dump. Went to Portsmouth, NH on Tuesday with no problems, bike sat out at motel in the rain all night. Next day bike was fine as well, did our thing and came home. Got home just before 5pm and parked the bike. Took a shower and headed to work on the bike. Had no signals nor brake lights. Came home at 2am and took the taillight off and all the connections and opened up the switch housings and left it sit like that overnight thinking maybe it got a little too wet. Went to work this morning and still no signals nor brake lights. Checked all the fuses and all were good. Swapped around the 3 relays. Checked the codes and pulled a loss of ECM serial data code. Cleared it and it didn't come back. Came home from work and had no cruise, no ABS light, no radio display and the speaker, spot, acc switches would not illuminate. Gonna hook 'er up tomorrow and see what's what. Opinions, ECM fugged up? Something obvious staring me in the face that I'm not seeing? I first thought the TSSM, but the brake lights don't work either.

You are the one that everyone comes to for answers! I'm sure everyone is stumped! It certianly sounds like ECM if that was the code. Not to dumb things down, but, did you check the battery connections? I always tend to look for the hardest solution first instead of the easiest. Good luck.
do you have a power commander or race tuner, disconnect the ecm and all the connections and check for water. I just went thru this for a second time, plus make sure the battery cables are tight too, plus come back and let us know what the end result was that fixed it too.

Checked the battery connections also. They were good and tight. I have the SERT which doesn't stay connected as a PCIII would. Checked the ECM connection and that was good. Forgot to mention that when I didn't have the radio display and whatnot, halfway home the display came back on and I was able to use the radio. Also when I walk away from the bike the four ways still flash as normal with the security system so I think that's good. If it is the damn ECM we don't have one in stock, only Seacoast has the -08A pn# in stock and White Mountain has the -08 pn# in stock. Got a ride to do on Saturday so I'd really like to be on my own scoot for the ride and not some used stock bike!

I hope You solve the problem soon. Wish I could offer You help, but I don't have much knowledge in this problem area. Good Luck, and let us know what happened.
i would suggest it is the TSSM before even thinking of the ECM. the ECM only controls the engine and engine management. the TSSM on my bike is right behind the battery on the right side poking down from the top, you gotta pop the metal clip off then pull it up to unplug it. the alarm working but not the signals is suspect to me, but might be worth popping it out and drying the module out.

I'm kinda leaning this way too, but, like someone else said...YOU are the one WE look to for answers!! LOL I'm sure you'll figure it out soon!
I hate electrical issues..............unless it can be fixed with a hammer! That's the thing that throws me is the alarm is working, the turn signals are not, and the brake lights don't work. That is why I was leaning toward ECM and not TSSM

i honestly dont think the ECM has any effect on the brakelights or turn signals though. without digging out the schematics im not sure. did you double check the "acc" fuse? i had the same issue a while back and swore it was good because i was checking fuses with a test light then went back and pulled them all and sure enough the acc fuse was blown. really pissed me off because i was checking EVERYTHING because i thought the fuse was good.
