Oh yeah, that fuel line from the pressure regulator to the quick disconnect fitting outside the tank is definitely a pressurized line.

Default Plugged filter

So was the fuel filter plugged? It's a pain but I did get a bad shot of sludge from a local Sh_ _L station and the stuff was like a sandy graphite. The filter has 47k on it as I am relatively sure the dealer did not ever replace the filter during their "special" services. The convulted tube you see when you first pop the canopy off is notoriuos for getting pinholes as well. It leads to the quick connect from the regulator housing. Mine did the same thing and I could see a very small, very intermittent spray, when I would look in the filler hole and switch the pump on, even though the pump would cycle off. The one in the pic was OEM as well so I just replaced the whole freakin thing. Once you get it apart the "mystery" goes away. I hope I can attach the pics!
