And Drew, yes did change the bearings while in there. Cam came with new outer bearing, and i purchased Timken inner bearings to replace the stock.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of the input here. After a lot of thinking, reading, talking, reading more, and some more thinking, I ordered the Screamin’ Eagle Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner Plate Upgrade Kit this morning to go with my new cams from Head Quarter HQ-0034.

Just got letter from Harley. They are having a recall and are putting in the tensioner upgrade for free.

I got the call letting me know my bike was ready...HQ-0034 cam installed, proper PCIII map from jamie installed, and the Hydraulic Cam Tensioner upgrade installed. (oh yeah, BlackOps Lifters from HQ as well), and wouldn't you know it...it snowed last night. Typical michigan weather i guess. As long as it warms up a bit and most of the snow melts i can go get it, but was really looking forward to some butt dyno time this past weekend!

I would like to hear what you think about it once you can get out to ride it.

HDR, I am getting ready to do this conversion on my '02 EG. Where did you get the kit from and did it have everything you needed? I am looking at the Andrews 26N for cams. Plan on doing the work myself with help from a friend. We rode on New Year's day here in Colorado but it was 60* here.

Woods and Andrews also both make a hydraulic conversion kit
Andrews does not. What you will see on their web site is a part number list of OEM H-D parts to do the conversion.
