Thank you! I had an issue with my HD installed amp. I didn't have the time or $$$ to take it back and have them remove the fairing to check the amp settings. I figured, how hard could it be? I have zero mechancical ability and limited tools. I followed your instructions and the pics. and I did it! Got it off, set the amp, and got it back on. I know it's not a big deal for most wrenches out there but, I was thrilled. No dents, dings, and only minor cursing. Thanks again, Nichelle aka Nikkidee

New member, new rider. I did the complete Biketronics set up on my 09 Street Glide. Added the Sirius tuner and interface. Couldn't be happier. Great product and Mike & Pat were great to work with.

Also added the Garmin Zumo 660. The fairing mount is clean and the unit is real user friendly. Now time to ride. EW

Great pictures and install on the Sirius w/ Biketronics. The temperatures are starting to cool off now days so I just put my lowers back on with the 5.25" speakers in them. It made a nice difference in the depth when I added the lower speakers again and now I know how much I actually missed them being on there. FYI, I am now running the Biketronics 6.5" speakers in the fairing and their sounding great!

Thanks again for all the emails everyone. It's nice to hear that this information helps out so many!

Default Hog Tunes

I'm no mechanic but installed the Hog Tunes speakers and amp. Outside of the screws not fitting well, everything went fine. It's a pretty easy install.

A few months later, I had the dealer install a painted inner fairing and they cracked it on the install because of the screws... I also had changed the bars and had the wires internally wired.

NOW, my speakers seem like they have static in them but it comes and goes. It seems worse with more vibration. One time they made a pop like sound when I started the bike. Pretty damn frustrating.

The dealer is going to look at it but I have a feeling that they wont find the problem or the speakers are damaged. Ill report back if I have anything conclusive. Thx.

Sounds like a loose connection or a bad ground if it's intermittent.

Default 08 FLHX fuel problems

I'm working on a 08 FLHX that has a new fuel tank with all the old internals pump/reg. When I first put power to the fuel pump it stayed for 25 to 30 seconds untill I shut it off with the ignition switch. The pump sounded louder than normal when running and now I can't get the pump to prime or turn on at all. I have triple checked the pump connections fuel and power and everything looks good. only getting 8.3V at the plug to the pump. Also no spark. Not sure where to go next please help???
