For me a "bagger" has to have the bat wing fairing and a set of hard bags. A "dresser" is short for "full dress" i/e electraglide with tour pac, lowers,lights,whip antennas,etc. Also known as a "garbage barge". If you can shuck the fairing and bags and it still looks like a normal bike then it a'int a bagger to me.
so by your definition, a road king is not a bagger. nor is a road glide. to me a bagger is a bike, set up for touring, that has bags as 'standard'. not just add ons. a sportster with bags is not a bagger conversely, a road king with a windshield is a bagger.
