Any body have good shocks on an 08 and still notice the wobble... I just can't find it... how do I produce it. no kidding....

I love my TWR. The Bagger Brace looks nice and has a great price. I'd go with what is cheaper. I'd make sure it works with a center stand however if you hope to install one one day.
Being the good MR(I'm actually an MM working as an MR) that I try to be, I was looking carefully at the mounting for the bagger-brace, and I think that there is a distinct possibility that the bagger-brace could be adapted to work with the Wheeldock center or the EZ up center stand (this is the one I have). This is because the bracke and the center stand use opposite sides of the same "dogbone" frame brace, which if you re-engineered it, could mount both assemblies.

I would be concerned with the TWR being that its aluminum if it ever cracked wouldn't the swing arm be loose on that side causing a possible loss of control?
1. How would you have a loss of control if it cracked, do you have a loss of control without it on at all or if your stock passenger floorboard mount cracked?
2. Why would the TWR crack, because it says it will on bagger brace's website?
3. Do you have any information at all that one has ever cracked?
5. Has anyone seen any real evidence (not bashing from the maker of another product) that shows that either is a bad design or product?
6. Have you seen 1 single real user of either that has anything bad to say about the one they bought and use?
I don't really have a dog in this fight, and I'm sure all of the best designed units work well. Personally, I wouldn't buy a bagger brace if it was the only one out there because of the guys attitude and cutthroat tactics on other forums. If you have a better product, put it out there and let the customers decide. There is absolutely no reason to attack and try to belittle your competition in a public forum. The best part of the whole pissing match is that it's one way, the other guy, other than simply defending himself keeps his mouth shut and doesn't retaliate or say anything negative at all. Respect, character, and class carry a lot weight in my book. In my humble opinion, the maker of one of the units mentioned above has it, the other doesn't.

Shocks don't have anything to do with controlling the lateral movement of the swingarm/motor. I've got Works shocks which IMO are an upgrade to the Progressive 440's and I had the wobble but didn't know it until I felt the improvemnt with the BB.You want to find the wobble? Do as I've mentioned before and sit on your bike and sheke the bars back and forth hard. You'll feel the movement in the swingarm. My bike no longer does this.

On a different forum I challenged the comments made by Bagger Brace that the use of a TWR or ride str-8 would cause the frame to bend at the mounting points and cause frame damage. I even produced a short video to debunk his claims and put it on you-tube. I see he has retracted his un scientific test on his web site but still claims frame damage caused by the units that mount to the swing arm support bracket. If any engineer looks at that portion of the frame it is the most heavly re in forced aria of the frame except for the neck. The cross brace where the bagger brace is mounted is a single layer of 12 ga stamped steel. It was intended to be a frame separator and the holes in it are most likely used as a holding fixture during the manufacturing process of the frame and or motorcycle. I would be more concerned about this cross brace fatigue cracking than any of the other mounting systems. If you look at the True Track and it's clones you will see that the torque arm runs across the length of the frame cross member where the Bagger Brace torque arm is much shorter and held with effectively one 1/4" machine screw. Yes there are 5 others but they do not effectively keep it from twisting on the mount. because all five of the other screws go through the center of the large hole in the cross brace. His design would have been much better if his torque arm went across the width of the of the cross brace. This is my opinion as some one who has been repairing broken machinery for over 40 years.
I have the bagger brace can't comment on the other becuase I have no experience with them however I can say that Bagger brace works as advertised and makes a world of difference on handleing.
