reclaimed water spots on aluminum wheels

RE: reclaimed water spots on aluminum wheels
I got hard water spots off using PEDRO"S orange citrus cleaner found at your local bicycle shop. \\; I tried 409, Simple Green, windex, dish soap, turtle wax/cleaner, ICE- all to no avail. \\; My Ultra was three days old. \\; I flipped. \\; The citrus cleaner saved my sanity.

For anyone who cares... I used some orange based citrus wheel cleaner (based on Korbenw7p3c recommendation) and it removed 99 percent of the stains. I used it sparingly and washed with soap and water quickly so it would not etch the wheels. Thanks!!!

Alright I think beings its aluminum you could safely clean with soft acid. I use this stuff on my big rigs aluminum wheels and it really cleans them up and brightens them good. Cleans all oxidation off.Usally can get at some power washing handler, truck wash, truck dealer, something like that. You can get a hard acid also but soft acid will more than do the trick I think.Might give that a try.
