I'm perfectly happy with my 103" and SE255 cams. If I really wanted a hot rod I wouldn't have bought an Ultra.

I am very happy with the 103 and SE-255 cams. It may not be the hottest combo out there but it is one helluva an improvement. I wanted reliability, durability, and to keep the warranty intact. May not be everyone's choice, but, it suits me!

I have a 103 with low compression pistons with 203 cams sert thunderheader stock heads 87 hp torque 103 I know it is nothing to brag about. It is no hot Rod, but it runs extremely well. Very happy 44 miles per gallon on the highway at 75

I agree with the SE 251 cams.&nbsp\\; Personal experience has proven this cam to be a much better bagger cam than most of the other SE cams.
HD dealers in this area swear by this cam.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; My wife's Heritage 95 has the same SE 251 cams and that thing will pull your arms off.

Well, I looked and researched many different aspects of the SE and GMR and HQ. Althought I would love to do a HQ....(PhilM and his build got me all wantin to be a motor head), I forgot that I added 3 more years to my warranty and now have 5. I did speak with the local dealership and said that they can keep me under warranty if I went with the SE 103 stage 2 kit. So I dont know if I should wait for 4 more years to pass and then build her up HQ style, or just go with the 103 overbore and 255 SE cams. Id love a ton of power but I just gotta rmemeber if I wanted to race at Infineon raceway I shoulda bought that gsxr a long time ago. Me and the wife are plannin a trip to SO CAL and havin a lil extra goin up the grapevine would help a plenty.

I was not out to build a fire breathing beast. I just wanted some more power, without constantly worry that the motor would blow itself up, or constant trips back to the tuner to get the thing running right after a "mix and match" performance build.

102 ft lbs and 79 HP works just fine for me.

I agree! I have an 07' FLHRCI that I just built from 96 to 103 with SE 103 heads and 255 cams. With the power commander tying it all together, I feel that everything performs very well and when riding "Two up", there is plenty of power to get around grandma in the slow lane. If I want a good adrenaline rush, I get on my 09' Hayabusa for a while. Ride safe!
