Hey guys, Well on my way back from sturgis I went down on my bike in the rain. Luckily I was fine and the bike was still operational, a little beat up but operational. I got home and started replacing damaged parts, first and foremost where the handlebars. My 14' wild one chubbys were pretty bent up so I decided to make a change. I started looking around and fell in love with the G bars from FXR division. after talking with Justin at FXR division I ordered the 14" G bars in black. When I got them in I felt they were a little too low so I ordered 3" DK customs riser extensions, The spacers brought the height up to 17" and were exactly what I was looking for.

I got to take my first ride last night an was amazed how much changing the bars totally changed to whole attitude of the bike! They give the bike a much more aggressive ride, you feel like you can throw it around like a dirt bike. I only put a few miles on them but I like them so far. I'll keep you guys posted as I get some more miles with them.

What kind of console is on your bike?

 

the console is the stock 04' road king custom powder coated wrinkle black with a Dakota digital gauge.

yeah the dash is unique to the "custom" models.
